GETTING HERE Lincoln City is located on the West Coast of the United States, on the central Oregon Coast, about two hours’ drive southwest of Portland, Oregon, the state’s largest city. Getting to Lincoln City By Air Portland International Airport is the closest commercial airport to Lincoln City, with direct flights worldwide. Rent a car in Portland to get out to the coast, or book a shuttle on Oregon Coast Tours, a local company that is happy to be your express service to and from the airport. By Road Centrally located on the Oregon Coast, Lincoln City is accessible by way of Highway 101 from the north and south and Highway 18 and Highway 20 from the east. Highway 18 connects Lincoln City with the Willamette Valley (and to I-5), through McMinnville and world-class wine country, or branch off of 18 to Highway 22 through Salem, the capital of Oregon.
