*Traditionally, held on the beach at the D River State Recreation Site, the 2026 Fall Kite Festival will be held at Chinook Winds Casino Resort, the evening of September 25, and two full days of festivities September 26 & 27, 2026. This temporary change in location is due to the construction of the new Lincoln City Welcome Center at the D River State Recreation Site. Explore Lincoln City is thrilled to partner with Chinook Winds Casino Resort as we look to continue the long-standing tradition of the Fall Kite Festival in Lincoln City.
