Traditionally, held on the beach at the D River State Recreation Site, the 2026 Summer Kite Festival will be held at Chinook Winds Casino Resort, June 27 & 28, 2026. This temporary change in location is due to the planned construction of the new Lincoln City Welcome Center at the D River State Recreation Site. Explore Lincoln City is thrilled to partner with Chinook Winds Casino Resort as we look to continue the long-standing tradition of the Summer Kite Festival in Lincoln City.
