The Knoll: A little sister to Cascade Head, and also within the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, the meadowed hill north of Lincoln City is affectionately known as "The Knoll." While a moderately difficult 3-mile loop, those who reach the top can breathe in the spectacular views of the Pacific coastline, Devils Lake and Roads End.
For parking, from Hwy 101 turn north onto NE Devils Lake Blvd. Follow the road past a gate until you reach a cul-de-sac. Park on the street and the trailhead to the Knoll is just beyond the road.
Exploriences are free and no registration is required.
